Price and payment Options
All prices advertised on New Zealand Lifestyle Imports website are in New Zealand dollars. All prices include GST unless otherwise stated. Sales will be invoiced and accounts are strictly to be paid for in full before goods are dispatched. Payment can be made by Internet Banking, Online Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard, Qcard, PayPal, ZIP, Laybuy or Afterpay. As all items are sent once payment has been received, dispatch times can be slightly longer for Direct Credit payments depending on your bank. Please note that we reserve the right to alter the prices at any time for any reason, but prices changes will not be affected after a purchase has been made.
We only ship within New Zealand, we will not ship overseas.
Dispatching, Courier and Transport Charges
Due to the vast variation of shipping charged around New Zealand our prices are all based excluding any shipping. Please contact us with your request and location so we can advise exact shipping charges. Payment can be made in full via internet banking, or we can change the price on the website to include shipping so payment can be made in one transaction if needed, otherwise we can issue a PayPal invoice or payment can be done over the phone.
Shipping times can vary depending on who we use and the destination, but when an enquiry is made we can also tell you rough shipping times.
Once payment has been confirmed we will make the shipment booking with the appropriate transport or courier company, once we have the booking number we will email full details to you, including name of transport company, booking number, contact details with phone numbers.
Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations and Refunds
We will usually not refund if you simply change your mind after receiving the goods.
If we do decide at our discretion to accept a product back for refund, you the purchaser will be liable for the cost of return shipping, you will also lose the initial shipping cost, this is based the goods are still in 100% original condition and goods are still packed as received, we will not accept goods back if they have been unboxed and repacked by the purchaser .
if the goods were purchase via our Trademe Store Discount Furniture you will also be liable to cover the cost of the Trademe Fees.
If an order is cancelled and the goods were purchased via ZIP, Laybuy.com or Afterpay you will be liable for the commission fees charged being 5% +gst
There will also be a 10% restocking fee charged for all returns (10% of the goods value excluding shipping costs), as most items are big and heavy, so boxes can get damaged or look tatty due to return shipping which means in some cases we need the resell the goods at a discounted price.
Sometimes things aren’t quite as they should be, if this happens to your purchase Under the “consumer guarantees act”, if you find the goods to be defective, faulty or damaged, we can offer replacement parts, repair or refund at our discretion.
Once your faulty or damaged product has been sent back and received by us, we will either dispatch your replacement product or part or arrange for a refund to be issued. Refunds will be issued within 7 days of the product being received back and will be issued in the original amount of purchase (less any fees if applicable). Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Any Returns Must Be In The Original State And Boxes You Received Them In.
